I went to my local mall the other day with the intent on just picking up a YSL lipstick, however things rarely happen how we think they will. The outcome was rather tame, as I did find some good budget buys at Target and Urban Outfitters.
From left to right:
Urban Outfitters Nail polish in Bohemian Summer and Bandeau.
Boots Foundation Stay Perfect in shade 30, Almond.
YSL Rouge Volupté Shine in shade 9, Nude in Private.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in shade 095, Crème Brulee.
Nars Eyeshadow Duo, limited edition shade, Paramaribo.
Below are some swatches and first impressions.

YSL 9 Nude in Private Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick
I recently watched Chloe talk about these on her youtube channel and I knew I had to go out and buy one of these. These is a perfect everyday lip color and as it so happens I have been wearing this none stop for the past week! I love these from the smell to the formulation to the color range. I have ordered more of these and there is sure to be an upcoming review on these. You can buy them at sephora.com.
Revlon Crème Brulee Colorburst Lip Butter
I finally caved in and purcahsed one of the lip butters, I know I must be the last person on earth to try them. I guess what held me off is the fact that I like a proper lipstick. On which is opaque, thick and creamy. So for me sheer lipsticks are a bit silly, however I was looking for a nude lipstick that wouldn't wash me out for work. I don't love this lipstick, if my lips arent properly mostirzed this tends to settle in the lines and goes a bit patchy. However that may just be this shade, or perhaps my lips have been dry the past few days. I do like the color and will buy a few more of these and keep you updated. You can buy it at drugstore.com.
