It's the return of the power lip, but not as we know it.
Perhaps taking inspiration from the couture collection itself, in which artistic director Raf Simons featured layers of colour on colour, texture on texture, international make-up artist Pat McGrath and her backstage team worked on the sequin on satin, sparkle on silk lip.
Just as McGrath had done at the Dior ready to wear spring/summer 2013 show with her winged, sequinned eye, make-up artists freehanded with iridescent Swarovski crystals placing them over hot orange, pink, purple and red lipstick for the new 3D glamour lip.
