Mini Haul: Lux & Budget Buys

I went to my local mall the other day with the intent on just picking up a YSL lipstick, however things rarely happen how we think they will. The outcome was rather tame, as I did find some good budget buys at Target and Urban Outfitters.

From left to right:
Urban Outfitters Nail polish in Bohemian Summer and Bandeau.
Boots Foundation Stay Perfect in shade 30, Almond
YSL Rouge Volupté Shine in shade 9, Nude in Private.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in shade 095, Crème Brulee.
Nars Eyeshadow Duo, limited edition shade, Paramaribo.

Below are some swatches and first impressions.

Beauty Review: Dior Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup

What it is: A liquid foundation with an SPF 25.

What it does: Creates a flawless face whilst also adjusting to your skin type, to give you, a ultra smooth face that last all day.

How much does it cost and where can i get it: It is available in 12 shades online at Sephora. It is also available in most department stores such as Bloomingdales, Macy's, Nordstorm and on amazon. It retails for $47.

How I feel about it: As far as foundation go, i've tired a lot of them, whether they be high street ones or luxury ones. One thing they all have in common however, is that they fail in comparison to this foundation. This is my go to foundation when i want my skin to look flawless and perfect the whole night. If i have a breakout or my skin has just been all around bad, once i put this on, its as if i have perfect skin. I constantly get complements that my skin looks great.  This foundation is extremely long wearing on me, and i have oily to combination skin. In the summer this adjust to more matte texture whilst in the winter when my skin goes dry this is more moisturizing. I do believe that this adjust to your skin type and because of that this is a great year round foundation. This blends nicely whether you use a brush, your hand or a beauty blender. My only complaint is that their shades tend to be a bit on the pinky side.

Getting down to the point: This is my all time favorite foundation, even if i find something new, i always go back to this. It covers well, is not cake, last all day, smells divine and the packaging is pretty. I would recommended this to everyone, better yet get to your local beauty counter pick it up, and im sure you'll love it swell.
