The Jimmy Choo XV Book

In conjunction with Jimmy Choo's 15th anniversary the brand has come out with a limited edition book celebrating its most popular styles and the people who love Choo. To celebrate the arrival of the book i decided it was time for a new pair of Choos. I settled on the Abel in Klein, for its timeless appeal and pop of color charm.  On to the book, it contains countless pictures of celebrities who's  red carpet moments were made even more fabulous with Jimmy Choo. Furthermore it features some of the most iconic Jimmy Choo ads and drawing of several of Choo's beautiful creations. If that wasn't convincing enough, 100% of the sale of this book is going to the Jimmy Choo Foundation. Charitable and Fabulous who could ask for more.

Kate Moss Cover W Magazine March 2012

Although it is no surprise to see the Kate Moss on the Cover of yet another magazine, i was however pleasantly surprised by these two covers. Playing an innocent good girl on the first cover in a Vera Wang Lace and Erdem habit while on the second cover Kate wears a sultry Gucci georgette piece. These two covers seem to tie in perfectly with the FAHION BIBLE issue which is one of the reasons i adore this. I love that W a true fashion magazine knows that we are sick of seeing Kate in her usually get up, with her usually poses. These covers are high fashion whilst still being interesting and eye catching. Something a few magazines could take a page from.

Perfectly Spring Bags

Forever21 Cross-body (not available online),  ASOS envelope clutch $26.86

Thought i would share some of my new spring/summer pieces. At the top is a Rebecca Minkoff, Kiss and Tell bag, in Blood Red. I desperately wanted this bag when i first saw it but stupidly decided to wait and then it was sold out everywhere. However when i went into my local Bloomingdales a couple of weeks ago i spotted it and ran to the counter. That same day i picked up the other Rebecca Minkoff bag (top right) and purchased that as well. Although the Mini Mac comes in many gorgeous colors the hot pink and the aqua blue caught my eyes. Ultimately i choose the aqua because i already have a hot pink patent leather Dolce and Gabbanna clutch at home.

As for my two neutral pieces, they are both steals. I hardly ever walk into Forever21 because it is usually a miss with me. However i happened to pass by and was intrigued by a polka dot dress i saw in the window with this bag. I ended up getting both. I love this bag because it truly is a neutral no grey/orange/pink/blue undertones what so ever. The bag to the right is a chic ASOS clutch that i found online. Envelope clutches are big right now and i love the gold hardware on this particularly one. This was by far the best steal of the month, as i have already found countless outfits to wear it with already.

Everyone Loves Louboutins

While browsing Neiman Marcus online i came across the Duvette Cap-Toe Pump by Mr. Louboutin and was mesmerized. The only thing that kept me from not buying these beauties was the other 5 pairs of heels i purchased last month. However after sleeping on it and doing a bit of googling, i found that i was not alone in my obsession. They were spotted on Alicia Keys, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gisele Bundchen and Beyonce Knowles. Ofcourse now that i see how versatile and necessary they are i just have to find the sold out shoe in a 36. Hopefully the Carrie Bradshaw shoe gods will forgive my doubt and bless me with finding a pair that fits.

Lusting over Victoria Beckham

Ever since Victoria unveiled her new collection everyone was craving one of these prints. The world was buzzing over the cats and crest moons and how perfect it would be for spring. It has been a couple of months and still her collection is going strong. Katy Perry wore her cat print dress in a SNL promo (left) and Victoria is also seen out and about in her designs quite often. However most recently Michelle Williams attended the Oscar luncheon in a rainy print number by Victoria. Michelle and Beckham make a perfect pair when you look at this collection. The prints and colors are very fun and playful, which is exactly what Michelle is to me. In a room filled with uptight and boring dresses Michele stood out in a good way. These prints are whimsical and fun, perfect for when you feel like the world is just plain boring. So if you have not done so already, go check it out.

Diane Von Furstenberg Surrealist Ad

Diane Von Furstenberg new ad for her Spring/ Summer collection is turning heads, with her no head model. Unlike most ads you will see in magazines, this model is sporting a gorgeous frock however she has no  face. Seen as possibly an attempt to garner publicity, this is pure genius. Diane is removing the distracting face of the probably beautiful model so that the clothes may speak for themselves. Too often a label will choose celebrities to front their campaigns and unless the clothes are truly outstanding, they get lost behind the model. But with Diane's ad the model is behind the clothes so to speak, and what you are left with seeing is a gorgeous Diane Von Furstenberg design.

Blake Lively Looking Lovely in Elle

Blake Lively looks lovely in Victoria Beckham on the cover of Elle's March Cover.  Blake is a perfect choice for a spring cover not only because she always seems to have a glow but also her look is so natural and effortless that it is the embodiment of spring and summer. I would  not have thought to put Blake in one of Victoria's design, perhaps because she is always seen in Chanel, but it suits her rather well. The inside editorial is quite sporty but i rather enjoy it on Blake. Its a bit of departure from her own style and her Gossip Girl alter ego as well.  Be sure to pick up Elle's March issue when it hits news stands.

Lana Del Rey for Vogue UK

Lana Del Rey is Vogue UK's March 2012 cover girl. Lana is shot by Mario Testino in a Louis Vuitton dress from their S/S 2012 collection . Pretty impressive to have just made it onto the music scene and already she has landed a cover for Vogue. Lana's voice is divine forget what all the critics say, my favorite is mermaid hotel or video games. Lana Del Rey's album was officially released on January 31, if you have not checked it out, do so at itunes.
